provides extra solved examples

This solutions manual is lacking in that it doesnt give you very may solved problems from each chapter. However, in light of the fact that the textbook completely leaves you hanging at every turn, i needed every bit of help i could get, and this solutions manual atleast showed you how to solve some problems, which the textbook didnt. Essentially, when trying to solve a homework problem, i would first go to my notes, then i would go online and google the problem, then i would check the solutions manual, and if all else failed, i would check the textbook. The textbook is so terrible its not even funny. this solutions manual is OK, but there are very little actual explanations as to why they are proceeding in the manner they are in any particuluar problem. I got a B+ in pchem 1 so i feel like i have a little bit of authority to speak on the topic.hah.

Useless, try Chegg instead.

I got this for a class because I knew that for a subject like physical chemistry I would need to do lots of practice problems to even have a prayer. And its terrible. It provides sketched out solutions to some of the odd and a few of the even problems, with little explanation, it doesn't give answers to the conceptual problems at all and does very little in the way of study guiding. I ended up just subscribing to chegg which enabled me to work through lots more problems and my grade improved. The accompanying textbook is actually pretty good with lots of examples, lots of problems and clear text, but this study guide is a total waste.

Look at the problems in the back of your book. Those in red are the ones that will be solved for you. There aren't many relative to all the problems. If you need the solution for the others, you'll have to look elsewhere. Consider Chegg online.
