The Energy Auditor's Bible

The value of this book lies in its wide field of application. It covers from the basics of energy management to the details about the practical application, measurements, instruments, technically and economically covering the subjects of investment, return and payback. In fact this book should be the Bible for the Energy Manager as well the Auditor and everybody who is interested in the subject of energy efficiency in Industries. Topics like Degree Days, consumption trends, how to use linear regression for determining the relation between energy and production, benchmarks, tricks on ventilation and HVAC, electric motors, steam generation and thermodynamics are explained in a way that a reader with basic electric and mechanical engineering knowledge will easily understand.
It was the first book that covered almost all my questions in regard to the industrial equipment. Books about building energy efficiency are widely available, but books about industry energy efficiency are very rare. And this book is one that I strongly could recommend. Especially for preparing the Certified Energy Manager certification.

don't buy for a reference for the CEA exam it is more of a practical reference.
